A medium-strength cigar with an overall creamy profile accented with notes of spice and pepper. Its Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper covers a Nicaraguan binder and filler. Handmade in Nicaragua, the Joya de Nicaragua Numero Uno line was intended for Nicaraguan ambassadors to hand out to world leaders, but it was so well received that the company eventually made it part of its regular production.
